Gordon worked as a Driver Examiner until 1969. He then went into the Sporting Goods business. This work took him to Italy, Germany and Holland. When he left that, he was a successful Real Estate Agent until he retired in 1995.
Gordon moved to High River and he and Byrla opened a new chapter in their lives together and were married in 1995. They experienced many good times together.
