The angels escorted Marjorie Esther “Marj” Markert home on March 23, 2007 from the Little Bow Continuing Care Centre Carmangay at the age of 79 years.
Beloved wife of Howard of Vulcan, loving mother of two daughters Susan (Rick) Reise, Deb (Ray) Berg both of Calgary, a son Fred (Barb) of Vulcan, three grandchildren Becky Reise, Kelly (Robin) Berg, Michael Berg, four sisters-in-law Mickey Markert of Calgary, Mabel Main of Spokane, Washington, Jane Markert of Duncan, BC, Allyene Keay of Camrose and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service was held Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Vulcan Church of Christ with Rev. Doug Barrie officiating.
In lieu of flowers, tributes in Marj’s memory can be made to either Little Bow Continuing Care Centre, Box 160, Carmangay T0L 0N0 or S.T.A.R.S., 1441 Aviation Park NE, Box 570, Calgary T2E 8M7
