It is with profound sadness that Steven and Jessica Malmberg announce the passing of their beloved son Mitchell, at the Alberta Children’s Hospital on April 19, 2018 at the age of 9 years.
Mitchell Dimitri Malmberg was born November 30th, 2008 to Steven and Jessica Malmberg. Mitch always has a presence about him. His personality could fill a room, his giggle and smile could brighten even the darkest days. He was the king of bad ideas but always managed to come out of any situation smelling like roses. He was a natural at almost every thing he tried. Having Mitch for 9 years was truly a blessing every day.
Besides his loving parents, Mitch is survived by his brothers and sister Kayden, Chaz, and Lucy, foster sister Caitlin, his mama (Loyia Malmberg) and Nan (Nancy Smith), great gramma Lucy Malmberg and numerous cousins. Mitch was predeceased by his Grampa Malmberg and Grampa Smith.
Celebration of Life will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints in Champion (203 – 4 Street) on Thursday, April 26th, 2018 at 1:30 pm, Bishop Mark Ellis officiating.
In lieu of flowers, tributes in Mitch’s memory may be made to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, 2888 Shaganappi Trail NW, Calgary, Alberta T3B 6A8.
