It is with great sadness that the family of Denise Colleen Kuntz announces her passing on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at the age of 57. Denise passed away peacefully at the Sarcee Hospice in Calgary, AB. She survived many years battling cancer, but she never let it defeat or discourage her.
Denise was born in Calgary, Alberta on October 12, 1961 to David Ronald McCrae and Jean Mildred (Wolfe) McCrae both predeceased. Denise spent her growing up years in Calgary where she was involved in Sunday School, accordion lessons, C.G.I.T. and explorers. She attended post secondary at Mount Royal College and afterwards she married Don and they started their life in Arrowwood. Don and Denise have enjoyed raising two wonderful boys, working together at their welding business and car wash, enjoyed hiking in the mountains and going on many short trips together.
Denise will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband of 36 years, Don and her children, Jordan (Melanie) and Nicholas (Sarah). Denise was a remarkable Grammy to eight grandchildren Gage, Chloe and Roman (children of Jordan and Melanie) and Malcolm, Heidi, Calvin, Spencer and Rupert (children of Nicholas and Sarah). Her grandchildren were her absolute joy and treasure in life. She is also survived by her brother Jeff (Tammy) McCrae, her sister-in-law Kelly McCrae, her nephew Jesse (Alisha) McCrae with their daughter Brooklyn, her niece Carley McCrae as well as several cousins and friends.
