KRISCUINATE, MARIA OF CARMANGAY, ALBERTA PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY JULY 5, 1996 AT THE AGE OF 85 YEARS.

MARIA WAS BORN FEBRUARY 16, 1911 AT KRIAUNDISKIAI, LITHUANIA. SHE RECEIVER HER REGISTERED NURSES TRAINING AT KAUNAS, AND WORKED IN PANEVEZYS FOR EIGHT YEARS.

DURING THE RUSSIAN OCCUPATION, SHE WAS PLACED IN A PRISONER OF WAR CAMP FOR TWO YEARS AND GAVE UP ALL HER POSSESSIONS AND LOST TRACK OF A BROTHER AND A SISTER.

SHE ARRIVED IN CANADA IN 1949, SHE WAS ADMITTED TO VARIOUS FACILITIES UNTIL SETTLING IN RAYMOND IN 1961. SHE CAME TO CARMANGAY IN 1992 WHERE SHE HAS RESIDED AT THE LITTLE BOW AUXILIARY HOSPITAL SINCE.

IN HER YOUNGER YEARS, MARIA ENJOYED BASEBALL AND SKATING. SHE ALSO ENJOYED ONE ON ONE COMPANIONSHIP, SMALL CHILDREN AND DOGS.

FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO MEET FOR PRAYERS AT SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, CARMANGAY SUNDAY, JULY 7, 1996 AT 7 P.M.

MASS ALSO AT SACRED HEART MONDAY, JULY 8, 1996 AT 11 A.M. WITH FR. EMANUEL C. BUTTIGIEG CELEBRANT.

INTERMENT CARMANGAY CEMETERY.
