Joyce Jones (Christie), beloved wife of Ray Jones, passed away peacefully with family at her side, at her home in Vulcan on April 15, 2022, at the age of 81 years.
Joyce is survived by her husband Ray and their 3 children, Ronald, Marilyn (Gordon), Robert (Arlene) and their families, including 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Joyce is also survived by 3 brothers (Clark, Wayne & Max) and 1 sister (Sandy), as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Joyce was born in Vulcan, Alberta. She married Ray, the love of her life, on December 4, 1959 and they lovingly raised 3 children.
Joyce had a tender heart for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She passionately enjoyed quilting and gardening. Joyce was a very compassionate person and she loved her circle of friends. She will be sorely missed by the many lives that she has touched.
Celebration of Life Funeral Service May 2, 2022 at 11 A.M. at Central Church of Christ, Pastor David Sarsons officiating. Interment at a later date in the Vulcan Cemetery.
