JOHNSON, CLIFFORD EDWARD, WAS CALLED HOME NOVEMBER 11, 1992 AT THE VULCAN GENERAL HOSPITAL AT THE AGE OF 70 YEARS.

CLIFFORD WAS BORN ON THE FAMILY FARM ONE MILE NORTH OF QUEENSTOWN SCHOOL ON MARCH 21, 1922. IN 1942 HE JOINED THE ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE AND WAS STATIONED AT HALIFAX AND WORKED AS AN AIRCRAFT MECHANIC UNTIL THE END OF THE WAR IN 1945. HE RETURNED HOME TO FARM WHERE HE HAS BEEN SINCE.

CLIFFORD WAS A PAST MEMBER OF THE QUEENSTOWN LEGION UNTIL IT CLOSED. HE LOVED HIS NIECES AND NEPHEWS, HORSES AND HORSE RACES. HE HAD A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOUR AND ENJOYED READING WESTERN STORIES. HE LOVED HIS DOG WHO WAS A CONSTANT COMPANION AND STAYED ON THE FARM FOR ABOUT ONE YEAR AFTER CLIFFORD HAD MOVED TO THE PETER DAWSON LODGE IN VULCAN TWO YEARS AGO.

BELOVED BROTHER OF OSCAR (ROSE) OF CALGARY AND MELVIN OF VULCAN, THREE SISTERS JOSIE PORTER OF BLACK DIAMOND, CLARA NELSON OF MILO AND LAURA (MELVIN) NELSON OF HIGH RIVER, A SPECIAL FRIEND BERYL BOWIE OF VULCAN, AND NUMEROUS NIECES AND NEPHEWS.

CLIFFORD WAS PREDECEASED BY HIS MOTHER MARGIT, HIS FATHER ALEC AND AN INFANT BROTHER JOHNNIE.

FUNERAL SERVICE SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 1992 AT 1:30 P.M. AT MILO COMMUNITY HALL WITH REV. LEWIS BOOTH OFFICIATING. INTERMENT HOPE LUTHERAN CEMETERY.
