BENJAMIN JAMES “JIM” HUDSON, BELOVED HUSBAND OF MRS. MARGARET HUDSON OF VULCAN, PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY DECEMBER 1, 1997 AT VULCAN COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE AT THE AGE OF 68 YEARS.
JIM WAS BORN ON JULY 8, 1928 AT KAPUSKAING, ONTARIO. HE WORKED IN CALGARY AS A COMMISSIONAIRE AT THE BAKER CENTRE GROUP HOME IN FOR SEVERAL YEARS. IN 1986 WHILE WORKING AS A CARETAKER AT A CALGARY LEGION, HE MET MARGARET BENNETT AND IN JULY OF 1987 THEY WERE MARRIED. IN I990 THEY MOVED TO VULCAN WHERE THEY HAVE RESIDED SINCE.
JIM ENJOYED WOOD WORKING, REFINISHING ANTIQUE FURNITURE, MAKING LAWN ORNAMENTS, CAMPING AND SPENDING TIME WITH FRIENDS.
JIM WAS A MEMBER OF THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION FOR TWENTY
FOUR YEARS.
