Heather, Ethel Lillian
Mom passed away peacefully Dec. 21, 2018 at the age of 89 years.
Ethel was born July 15, 1929 to Bill and Florence Clements, the seventh of eight children. She grew up east of Milo, attending Corbie Hill School until it closed, then continued at Milo School. In 1948 she married Alvin George “Hap” Heather.
Ethel was famous for her angel food cakes, with family members receiving them on birthday and special occasions. She also loved gardening, and playing with her grandchildren.
Ethel is survived by her three children. Terry Heather, Brenda (Len) Orlita, and Warren (Penny) Heather, and her grandchildren Dan (Kelly) Westgard, Russel (Jackie) Heather, Deanna, Tracy, Tate, and Brittany, and great grandchildren Jase, Tori, and Olivia, and siblings Lawrence (Doris) Clements, Betty (Lloyd) Armstrong, as well as a large extended family. Ethel was predeceased by her husband Hap, her parents, and 5 of her siblings.
A celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the Milo Hall with Reverend Gordon Cranch officiating. Interment in O’ Perfect Peace Cemetery, Milo, AB.
