Gooch, Dennis George, of Vulcan, beloved husband of Darlene, passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, surrounded by his loving family, on March 23, 2015 at the age of 71 years.
Dennis was born on December 21, 1943, only son of George and Mabel Gooch. He, along with his two sisters, were raised in the Eastway/Milo district.
Besides his loving wife Darlene, Dennis is survived by his son Troy (Amy Stewart) and their children Chaz, Dustin and Skylie, two daughters Cindy (Rick) Goldhawk and their children Camryn and Cale and Sherri (David) Ng and their children Rylan and Cohen, sisters Sheryl Gooch and Charlotte Nelson, sisters-in-law Louise Kesler and Joan (Bruce) Geldart, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Dennis was predeceased by his parents George and Mabel Gooch, brothers-in-law Ken Nelson and Art Kesler.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 1:30 pm at Vulcan United Church, Sue MacDonald, D.M. officiating. Inurnment Vulcan Cemetery.

I couldn’t believe when I read of Dennis’s passing today. I remember well his humour and always making me laugh, when my family visited the farm. Our sympathy to his family.
We were so sorry to hear that Dennis had past away. We both knew him all his life and remember his sense of humor and his very kind heart. I know you will miss him every day of your lives.
I have such fond memories of my time in Vulcan with the hockey travels and just having fun with our good friends. Dennis was such an amazing fun loving guy. I will remember Dennis as a dear friend,a ball player, a hockey Dad, a man who was considered a friend by the whole community and that infectious laugh and giggle that he possessed will be missed!!!
