GILLETTE, Robert Lorne, of Vulcan, beloved husband of Kathy, passed away peacefully with family at his side, after a lengthy battle at home, at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on October 8, 2018 at the age of 60 years.
Besides his loving wife of 28 years Kathy, Rob is survived by his children and grandchildren: Leigh (Fred) MacKinnon and Harmony, Kayos and Karma, Lyndal Gillette (Luke) and Danylla, Hailey and Madison, Melanie Gillette and Cylas and Riley, Christopher Gillette and Jesse Gillette, his father Lorne (Betty) Gillette, sisters Sue Matthews (Ron), Vicki Nelson and Pat (Mike) Massey, mother-in-law Dolores Echlin and numerous nieces and nephews. Rob was predeceased by his mother Monna (Hornberger) Gillette, brother Spencer Gillette, brother-in-law Harry Matthews and father-in-law Doug Lackey.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 15th, 2018 at 1:30 pm at the Vulcan Legion Hall (240 Sinclair Rd), Pastor David Sarsons officiating.
