GILLESPIE, Douglas Darryl  1971 – 2011

GILLESPIE, Douglas Darryl (Doug) of Lomond passed away November 7, 2011 at Vulcan Community Health Center at the age of 40 years.

Memorial service was held Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Lake McGregor Country Estates Club House (Highway 534, 48 km East of Vulcan).

In lieu of flowers, tributes in Doug’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, #200, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 2P5.

    So sorry to hear about Doug, the world has lost a good good man. He was such a hard working and likeable guy you couldn’t help but to admire him.(I know I did) I could also tell that he was well raised and came from a very loving family.
    I sorry I didn’t make it to the service, I tried but It didn’t work out. Trust me when I say Doug shall not be forgotten. I know from experience that words can not end the sorrow, but know this , I shall be thinking of you and I am so very sorry.

    Our sincere love and sympathy go out to the family. We feel so bad we are not with you to mourn but we are with you in spirit.
    We have always thought a lot of Doug. When we think of him we think of his smile and what a hard worker he was.
