Gateman, Shirley Eunice, passed away at the Foothills Hospital, Calgary, on January 20, 1990 at the age of 41 years.
Beloved wife of Mr. Vic Gateman of Mossleigh and loving mother of two sons, Colin and his fiancee Jennifer Johnston of High River and Brent of Mossleigh and his close friend Kim Lievaart of Lethbridge. Shirley is also survived by her loving parents Walter and Ruby Willoughby of High River, five brothers – Vic and Joyce of Red Deer, Wes of High River, Jim and Lynn of Black Diamond, Charlie and Joan of Camrose and Bob and Sue of High River, a sister Tilly and Norman Ring of Cayley, numerous in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Shirley was always quite active in the community and will be sadly missed.
Funeral services Wednesday, January 24 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Mountain View Cemetery and Funeral Home (17 Ave at Garden Road, Calgary) with Mrs. Shirley Collard D.M. of Blackie United Church officiating. Interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
