Doyle, Robert Henry “Bob”, passed away at the Colonel Belcher Hospital, Calgary, on January 9, 1990 at the age of 71 years.

Bob was born at Champion, Alberta on May 6, 1918. He farmed in the Champion area and in 1938, he married Mildred Swanson. In 1939, he enlisted into the army and served overseas, serving most of his time in Italy as an ambulance driver until the war was over in 1945, when he returned to the farm.

Beloved son of Mrs. Elizabeth Doyle of Carmangay. He is also survived by a son Murray Doyle, his brother George of Hanna, a sister Mrs. Rose Richardson of Alix, Alberta, three nieces Gloria Yeatman of Royston, BC, Lynda Forsyth of Dawson Creek, BC and Sharon Nielsen of Red Deer, a nephew John Richardson of Rocky Mountain House, two great nieces and three great nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Mildred, his father John Henry in 1959, two brothers Patrick in 1959 and Thomas in 1987.

Funeral Services Saturday, January 13 at 2:30 pm at Champion United Church with Rev. Bert Frey officiating. Interment Champion Cemetery.
