Frank Leo Cutler, of Vulcan, beloved husband and father, passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on July 23, 2022 at the age of 75 years.
Frank was born in Vulcan on February 15, 1947. Eldest son of Bob and Muriel Cutler. He attended elementary school in Champion and high school in Vulcan. In his young adult years. He took up farming with his parents and learned lapidary. Frank could often be found tinkering with farm equipment, and checking and repairing fence.
Shortly after marrying Helene Krueger in 1976 they raised their son Vic. Frank was a loving husband and father. In retirement Frank continued farming and his daily fence checks. It would seem that Frank was trying to reinvent ways to drive a post or fix fence. He and Helene would also have coffee with ‘the usual suspects’ almost daily.
Besides his loving wife Helene, Frank is survived by his son Vic, brother Robert (Jill) Cutler and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Bob and Muriel Cutler.
A Graveside Service will be held on August 6, 2022 at 11 am, Celebrant Peter Holukoff officiating. Interment Vulcan Cemetery.
Tributes in Frank’s memory can be made to the Vulcan County Health and Wellness Foundation, Box 28, Vulcan, AB T0L 2B0.
Arrangements in care of Vulcan Funeral Home. Telephone 1-403-485-2633. E-mail condolences through www.vulcanfuneralhome.ca.

Helene, Vic and Bob, we are so sorry for your devastating loss of Frank. Gerry remembers the good times playing as cousins when they were little at your farm. Please know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May Frank, Rest In Peace.
Always sad to learn when a high school classmate has passed away. When Vulcan County centralized the high school experience, Frank was one of the new classmates we gained despite the horrendous bus rides many had to endure. My condolences to all of Frank’s family and friends.
