Margo Ann Gair 1945 – 2005.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Margo Ann Gair, beloved wife of Gary Gair, on September 15, 2005 at the Vulcan Community Health Centre.
Margo was born July 23, 1945 in Vulcan and received her education there as well. She then briefly worked in Calgary before moving back to Vulcan and marrying Don Houlton in 1965.
In 1966 and 1968 respectively Tracy and Mark were born. During this time, Margo loved to golf, curl and ski. She was one of the original founding members of the first Kinette Club in Vulcan

Alexander Allan “Al” Laurie, beloved husband of the late Goldia, passed away September 14, 2005 at Vulcan, Alberta at the age of 83 years.
Al was born March 7, 1922 on the farm at Togo, Saskatchewan to James and Helen Laurie. He was the fourth of five children. Al joined the army in 1939 enlisting in the Canadian Forestry Corps. He was stationed in Scotland and drove trucks hauling timbers used to build the floating docks needed for after the invasion. John Peter Hoszouski of Vulcan, Alberta passed away Sunday, August 7, 2005 at Lethbridge, Alberta at the age of 92 years.
John was born at Herbert, Saskatchewan on February 10, 1913, the oldest of seven children, to Nikolai and Katrena Hoszouski. He was raised and educated on a homestead in the Golden Prairie area of Saskatchewan. John left Saskatchewan in 1933 and worked on numerous farms and ranches in Southern Alberta as a farmhand, carpenter and mechanic. Kenneth Rude “Ken” Bjornson, beloved husband of Clara Gold Tharle, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at Vulcan Extendicare at the age of 89 years.
Ken was born January 4, 1916 at Medicine Hat, Alberta where his parents, Henry (Art) and Amelia (Molly) Bjornson had taken residence with another family for the winter. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Salina Fey Myers on July 19, 2005.
Born October 20, 1917, she grew up and resided on the family farm twenty miles east of Vulcan.  Predeceased by her parents and one brother Vernon (1990) she is survived by her brother Richard, three nieces and five nephews.
Ruth had a quest for knowledge that remained with her throughout her life.  She attended public school at Prospect Slope then onto Calgary and Edmonton where she graduated from high school.  In 1936 she moved back to Calgary and received her diploma in Cosmetology
