Anne Noreen Middleton, loving wife of the late John G. “Jack”, passed away with her family beside her at the Vulcan Community Health Centre January 25, 2008 at the age of 83 years.
Anne was born on December 5, 1924 at Nanton, Alberta to Gilbert and Harriet Lee.  She was raised by Annie and Dick Clements on their farm in the Alston area.  Anne attended Mount Royal College and took Dental Assistant.  She worked for a short while until she married Jack Middleton of the Auburn area on July 20, 1950.  Anne became a stay-at-home mom and raised seven children.  She

Ruby Esther Brown of Vulcan, Alberta passed away January 18, 2008 at Little Bow Continuous Care Centre at Carmangay, Alberta at the age of 82 years.
 
Ruby was born September 20,1925 in the Armada District to John and Ruth Johnson. Ruth passed away in December 1928. Ruby and her sisters, Verna and Clara, were raised by their grandparents, Charles Gay who came out from Summerside, P.E.I. and Elizabeth Gay came out from Buctouche, NB.  Ruby and her sisters lived with Charles and Elizabeth along with their uncles Cameron, Ralph, Bernard, Ray and Roland. Peter Paul Krieger, beloved husband of Karin, passed away peacefully with his family by his side following a lengthy battle with cancer on January 13, 2008 at Vulcan Community Health Centre and the age of 66 years.
Peter was born on June 24, 1941 at Königsberg, Germany to Artur and Herta Krieger.  As a journeyman carpenter, Peter immigrated to Toronto in 1960 where he met the love of his life, Karin Deskau, and they were married the following year.  Together they raised two daughters Martina and Christiana.  As an avid outdoors man, Peter “insisted” that the family also enjoy camping, fishing

Ila Mae Turley passed away in to the arms of her loving saviour Jesus Christ December 23, 2007 at Vulcan, Alberta at the age of 89 years.
Ila Mae was born on April 27, 1918 at Ensign, Alberta to Lowell and Mable Elston.  Her favorite time of the year was the Christmas season.  Ila Mae liked reading and she loved to spend time with her family.  She was a member of the Vulcan Church of Christ Candlelight Circle and was a life time member of the Vulcan Community Health Centre Ladies Auxiliary.

On Wednesday, December 19, 2007 Marguerite Mary Lindstedt passed away at the Oilfields General Hospital in Black Diamond.
Marguerite was born on October 15, 1918 in Moncton, New Brunswick to Stanley and Molly Keays. After attending nursing school in Moncton from 1938 – 1941 she enlisted in the army and was stationed in Moncton during WW II. After being discharged, Marguerite and a friend headed West. After working in Edmonton she was sent to Lomond as the Public Health Nurse for the Bow River District. Nine months later she met Ralph Lindstedt and they were married in 1947. They settled on

Williams, Gordon A. passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer on December 15, 2007at the Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 79 years.
Beloved husband of Phylis (Hewens) Williams, he will be loving remembered by his children Linda (Ned) Studer, Heather (Allan) Davies, Ronald (Crystal) Williams, Leigh (Leslie) Fex, Wendy (Barry) Dickinson, Dwayne (Annette) Fex, Donald Williams, Kevin (Janet) Fex, fifteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Louise Meredith Neville passed away, with a family member present, on December 9, 2007 at Vulcan Extendicare at the age of 91 years.
Louise was born at Richdale, Alberta on September 20, 1916.  She was the oldest of eight children born to William and Florence Clements of Milo.  She lived in Richdale and Provost before moving to Milo with her family in 1927.  Louise attended Corbie Hill School near Milo and then went to work for families in the area.  While she was keeping house for Milton and Myrtle Ward, she met Leighton Robert Campbell (son of George and Minnie) of
