Rollingson, Brian James passed away suddenly near Mossleigh, Alberta May 7, 2008 at the age of 17 years.
Beloved son of Len “Rolly” and Mayda Rollingson of Mossleigh, brother of Shauna Rollingson (Cpl. Hugh Hayes) of Wainwright, step brother of Neil (Chantel) Rollingson of Lethbridge, Dan (Stephanie) Rollingson of Coaldale, grandson of Evert (Meiny) Veldhuizen of Lethbridge, numerous relatives in Canada, England and Holland.
Memorial Service for Brian was held Wednesday May 14, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at Vulcan Cultural Recreation Centre.

William Ronald “Ron”  Thompson passed away peacefully on May 6, 2008 at his home at the age of 79 years.
Ron was born January 17, 1929 on the farm at Arrowwood, Alberta to Billy and Leita Thompson.  After completing his grade 11 in Arrowwood, Ron completed his grade 12 at Mount Royal College.  He continued his education at Olds Agricultural School for one year,  finishing his schooling at SAIT. After his schooling Ron married his sweetheart Gail and they took up farming life with his parents on the family farm.

Spaeth, James Leroy “Jim” passed away suddenly at Vulcan on April 30, 2008 at the age of 63 years.
Jim was born May 3, 1944 at Vulcan, Alberta to Howard and Mae Spaeth.  He took all his schooling at Vulcan and went onto Olds College. As a young man Jim was a 4-H member, president of the Vulcan Lions Club, SACA coach and member of the Vulcan Golf & Country Club. He met Charlene Webb and they were married October 24, 1964.  They moved onto the Spaeth homestead and then moved to the Howard Spaeth Farmstead in 1966.  They live there

Olive May Strauss, beloved wife of Jerry Strauss, passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on Sunday, April 20,2008 at the age of 72 years.
Olive was born on June 1, 1935 at Arrowwood, Alberta to Dick and May Hurl and was their oldest child.   She grew up on the family homestead near Mossleigh where her brother Allan still resides.  Throughout her life Olive worked at various jobs in the food industry and provided secretarial services to a few different companies as well.  In December of 1997 she married Jerry and moved onto the farm at the Champion-Parkland area.  It

Walter James Burton passed away April 11, 2008 at the Peter Lougheed Health Centre at Calgary at the age of 77 years.
Walter was born March 8, 1931 at Englebert, Manitoba to Alexander and Betty Burton.   He moved to BC and worked in a mill for thirty years and then worked in maintenance at Simon Fraser University.  He met Audrey Martin in 1982 and they were married in 1996.  Walter retired and they moved to Vulcan in 1999 where they have resided since.

Florence Lillian Bushell, beloved wife of the late John Edward “Jack”  Bushell, formerly of Milo,  passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on April 6, 2008 at the age of 94 years.
Beloved mother of a daughter Audrey (Ron), daughter-in-law Marg, grandchildren Ken (Monnie), Laurie (Lorne), Doug (Sharleen), Christine (Galvin), Cindy (Mike), great grandchildren Tammy (Marc), Josh (Sarah), Shaun, Amanda (Chris), Michele, Maria, Devon, Cali, Casey and a sister Edith.
Florence was predeceased by her parents Lars and Annie, husband Jack, son Eugene, daughter-in-law June, brothers Clifford and Harvey and sisters Ruth, Gladys, Frances and Hazel.
