Robert Nelson Hill (September 5, 1914 – April 23, 2012)
Robert (Bob) Hill, beloved husband of the late Margaret Hill, of Vulcan passed away at Vulcan Hospital on April 23, 2012 at the age of 97 years.
Bob will be dearly missed by his 5 children: Duane (Rita) Hill, Gary (Doreen) Hill; Joyce Hegland; Linda (Tom) Sawyer; and Marjorie Van Camp (Wade Russell). He leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, as well as two sisters-in-law, Helen Hill and Dorrie Asplund.

Muriel Doreen Holoboff – (nee MacKenzie)
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Muriel Holoboff of Camrose, formerly of Calgary and Vauxhall, AB, at the age of 77 years on March 27th, 2012.
She is survived by her daughter Marie, grandsons Jordan Hude, Evan Hude (Kaleigh) and great-granddaughters Hailey and Paige all of Calgary; Kristopher Hude (Alysha) and great- grandson Kaeden, of Strathmore, AB.; brothers Allen (Maggie) MacKenzie, Courtney, BC., Winston (Patti) MacKenzie from Camrose, her Aunt Margit Burns, Lethbridge, AB; and numerous, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Loose, Otto Carl “Bunty” of Vulcan passed away January 14, 2012 at the age of 77 years.
Otto was born on March 7, 1934 at Magrath, Alberta to Otto and Agnes Loose. The family moved to the Roger Hubbard farm east of Vulcan in 1938. In the fall of 1945, they moved and were raised west of Vulcan. They attended school in Sandpit, Sunny Glen, Reid Hill and eventually Vulcan. When Otto and Agnes retired from farming in 1957, Bunty took over the farm. Bunty married Gretta Jose on September 29, 1961 and together they farmed for thirty years.

Catherine Nancy “Kaye” Fath formerly of Champion passed away at Vulcan Community Health Centre January 10, 2012 at the age of 85 years with her family by her side.
Kaye was born November 8, 1926 at Calgary, Alberta to Joseph and Sarah Kennedy were she completed her schooling. She met and married Philip February 10, 1949 and together they came to the Champion area to begin farm life, after the first few years on the farm they built a home in Champion where they resided until retiring and selling the farm to son Glenn.
They loved to travel, camping and winters in

John David Welsh Feb. 17, 1929 – Jan. 3, 2012
John Welsh formerly of Turin, Alberta passed away peacefully at Vulcan Health Centre at the age of 82 years with his family at his side.
John was born on the family farm near Keho Lake and farmed in the Newlands area and later moved to the farm at Turin. John enjoyed hunting, camping, travelling and times with friends and family. He enjoyed many winters in Yuma, Arizona and times at Moyie Lake, B.C. John especially enjoyed having fun with his grandchildren.

Massey, Ronald “Ron” Ray formerly of Champion passed away December 28, 2011 at Calgary at the age of 79 years.
Beloved father of two daughters Michele (Curtis) Haimila of Calgary, Lynette Massey of Lethbridge, three sons Mike (Patti), Grant (Cathy), both of Vulcan and Darcy (Lori) Massey of Ft. McMurray, seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
