We Remember

Catherine McKellar McKay passed away on September 24, 2012 after excellent care at High River Hospital at the age of 90.
Kay is survived by her two daughters Marilyn Loreen Gore and Elizabeth Jean McKay, her son, Carson Grant McKay, four grandchildren, Clark McKay, Andrew McKay, Linda Xavier and Cameron Gore and three great – grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband Glen Carson McKay, her sister Elizabeth Kyle Martin, brother Alex Grant and her mother and father Elizabeth and John Grant.

It is with sadness that the family of Robert “Bob” William Marks of Milo, announce
his passing on September 22, 2012 at the age of 64 years.
Bob is survived by his spouse Doreen McMurphy, daughters Roberta (John) and
Tina (Steve), three grandsons, one granddaughter, one great-grand-son, a brother
Ron (Carol), sisters Dene Peterson, Sylvia (Jack) Laycraft, Rosemary Monner and
Wendy Marks, and many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by brother
Freddie and parents Fred and Dene Marks.
Graveside Service was held Friday, September 28, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the O’ Perfect
Peace Cemetery at Milo, Alberta with Father Ed Hospet officiating.

Wilhelm “Bill” Oscar Wogsberg, born on July 12, 1935, passed away August 18, 2012 at Taber, Alberta at the age of 77 years.
Bill is survived by his loving wife La Verla, five children Lavinia (Bruce) Henderson, William (Marilyn) Wogsberg, Laura (Randy) Schlaht, Roberta (Michael) Chambers and Denise (Doug) Webber, nine grandchildren, Kyle (Marilynne) Braun, Shelby and Jonah Wogsberg, Amber and Rachelle Tiegen, Leighton and Erin Chambers, Cassidy and Adam Webber, a great grandson Gaige Braun, a sister Ida, and numerous nieces and nephews. It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Lillian McMorris, on Aug. 18. 2012 after a tiring battle with cancer. She was 91 years old.
Mom was born in her parents’ home at Pine Lake, Alberta on March 24, 1921. She was the last of seven children, all of whom are now deceased.
Her youth was a hard working, but happy time and that, we are sure is where her unique sense of humor came from. She was able to hold onto her humor right up till the last which was wonderful for us.

Chuck is survived by his wife Kathy, his children Katherine (Scott), David (Gabby) and Jennifer, his grandsons Chase, Quinton and Cooper, his mother Wilma, and sister Debbie, as well as an endless amount of dear friends. Chuck was predeceased by his father Charlie.
Chuck was born in Vulcan, Alberta on January 6, 1950. After finishing high school, Chuck met the love of his life Kathy and they moved to Calgary. Shortly after, Chuck joined the Calgary City Police Department and was employed
