Charles Harrison Sealock, CWO ret’d
July 26, 1916 to April 11, 2014
Sealock, Charles Harrison, of Vulcan, passed away peacefully at Vulcan Extendicare on Friday, April 11, 2014, at the age of 97 years.
Charlie was born July 26, 1916, in a homestead shack on the SW1/4 32-17-20, the third child of Justus and Ethel Sealock.  In 1928, with his parents, sister Leona and brother Glenn, the family moved further west to the Art Jones’ homestead, the present farm site.  With his sister and brothers, he attended Sunny Plains School and worked on his parent’s farm.  He then took a correspondence course in

Michael Stephen Tabor, of Vulcan, passed away suddenly at home on April 7, 2014 at the age of 47 years.
Michael Stephen Tabor was born in Oxbow, SK on June 15, 1966. Mike spent his early childhood in Regina and area before moving to Sherwood Park, Alberta, when he was 10 years old.
Mike frequently expressed love and pride for his parents, Helen and Tim. He adored his sister Michelle, who was two years younger, and brother Timothy Jr, eleven years younger.

JOYCE FATH
January 28, 1930 – April 3, 2014
It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Fath of Champion, AB on April 3, 2014.
Joyce was born, raised and lived in the Champion area until recently, moving to the Vulcan Peter Dawson Lodge. She enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family.
Joyce is survived by her four children: Mark Fath of Vulcan, AB; Tim (Susan) Fath of Airdrie, AB; Christine (David) Sealock of Airdrie, AB; and Garth Fath of Calgary, AB, four grandchildren Ashlee and Tyler Fath both of Vulcan, Jordon (Kady) Sealock of Pittsburgh, PA and

Fred Androsoff of Lethbridge, Alberta (formerly of Vulcan County) left us to be with his loving Father in heaven on March 28, 2014 at age 94. Those left behind have fond memories of his kindness, integrity and strong work ethic but their most endearing memory is his unwavering faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Fred was born on the family farm between Mikado and Canora, Saskatchewan. His parents and some relatives emigrated from Russia on a ship donated by Queen Victoria of England when they were children.

Klein, Helen, of Vulcan passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre March 25, 2014 at the age of 80 years.
Funeral Service will be held at the Vulcan United Church on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 1:30 pm, with Sue MacDonald officiating. Interment Vulcan Cemetery.

Clarkson, Maria “Marie”, passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Community Health Centre, Long Term Care Unit, March 18, 2014 at the age of 87 years.
Marie will be lovingly remembered by her four sons Lionel (Ruth), William, Darrell, Kenneth (Janine).  Brother, Karl (Annette) Schauermann,  12 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great, Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her Mother and Father John and Maria Schauermann, Brothers Alex and Samuel and Sisters Frieda and Bertha.

Elva Doreen Holm (Stewart) of Vulcan, formerly of Champion, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2014 at Vulcan Extendicare with her daughter Lynda by her side.
Doreen was born on October 27, 1925 at Reid Hill, Alberta, east of Vulcan,  to Gordon and Elva Stewart. She was the second child of seven siblings.
Doreen is survived by her children Lynda (Byron) Smith, Michael (Cheryl) Holm, Bob (Valerie) Holm; six grandchildren Eryn Smith, Cory (Amanda) Smith, James (Shannon) Holm, Perry Holm, Jackson Holm and Jennifer Holm; six great grandchildren Darby, Nicholas, Megan, Austin, Ava and Presley; brothers Bruce (Mona) Stewart and Charles Stewart,

Hyslip, Amond Hazen, of Vulcan, beloved husband of Mary, passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre February 16, 2014 at the age of 84 years.
Amond was born August 2,1929 in Vulcan to Hazen and Annie Hyslip. At the tender age of  6 his father passed away.  Amond started school under teachers Lucy Fair and Hazel Cameron, and received his education in the Vulcan area.
In 1951 he took over the farming operations and on February 4th, 1954, married the love of his life, Mary Lawson at Central United Church in Calgary.
Together they raised their four children teaching  them strong family
