Fulton, Evelyn “Darlene” of Vulcan, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Vulcan Community Health Centre, on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the age of 74 years.

She was born in Vulcan, the first daughter of Basil (Budd) and Mildred Crick. She was raised on her grandparents’ farm east of Vulcan. She attended school at Reid Hill until it closed. Schumacher, Annetta Marie, formerly of Vulcan, passed away at St. Michael’s Health Centre in Lethbridge on November 19, 2014 at the age of 90 years. Annetta is now safe in the arms of Jesus. Annetta was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and a friend to many throughout her life.

Mel was born and raised in Vulcan on February 2, 1926 to Bill and Chloe Marshall, along with siblings Norman and Ruth. Mel attended school at Union Jack, Lomond and Mossleigh Schools. He joined the Army when he was 18 and was ranked as a Royal Canadian Engineer. He was discharged at the age of 19.
