Campbell, Nora Elizabeth (Nee: Collier) passed away May 5, 2015 at Lethbridge, Alberta at the age of 93 years.
Nora was born at Vulcan, Alberta on August 25, 1921 to Godfrey (Joe) and Violet Collier. The daughter of a pioneer merchant and harness maker remembered the times of playing with kitchen utensils in the ditch dirt beside the street in front of the house. Nora married her school sweet heart, the love of her life, Stuart Campbell on November 21, 1941. Nora worked as a teller at the Bank of Commerce and then as a stenographer for the R.C.A.F. in Claresholm.

Lebsack, Nora of Strathmore (formerly of Vulcan), passed away at the Strathmore General Hospital on April 19, 2015 at the age of 91 years.
Nora was born Jan. 17,1924 and grew up on the family farm south of Carbon, Alberta. She met and married the love of her life, David Lebsack in 1944 in Champion, Alberta. They resided on the family farm east of Champion until moving to Vulcan in 1957. After the move, Nora worked for Alberta Agriculture as a stenographer until her retirement in 1989. Jason Cory Lanovaz Comstock, known by friends and family as “Cory”, was born in Calgary on January 26, 1998, the chosen son of Keith and Eleanor Comstock, and youngest sibling to Caitlin and Connor, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015 in Vulcan.

Gooch, Dennis George, of Vulcan, beloved husband of Darlene, passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, surrounded by his loving family, on March 23, 2015 at the age of 71 years.
Dennis was born on December 21, 1943, only son of George and Mabel Gooch. He, along with his two sisters, were raised in the Eastway/Milo district.

Comstock, Stanley “Stan” , of Vulcan, passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on March 7, 2015 at the age of 90 years.
Stan entered the theater of World War II in Holland with the Regina Rifles. After the war, he worked in the grain industry for 36 years with the Alberta Wheat Pool.

Kathleen (Kay) Jane Doeling, October 27, 1917 – February 15, 2015
The family of Kathleen Jane “Kay” Doeling regretfully announces her passing on Feb. 15 at the age of 97 years.
Kathleen was born in her parents’ homestead farmhouse in Vulcan County, Alberta, the only child of pioneers Frieda and John McRoberts. She rode on horseback, weather permitting, to Sunny Glen School through Grade 8, then boarded weekdays in Vulcan to attend high school. Her lifelong interest in Canadian politics came from reading Hansard in the evenings with her father, who had a subscription. Childhood visits to her mother’s relatives in Wisconsin
