Harvey, beloved husband of Nora, passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Health Care Centre on December 29, 2016 at the age of 90 years, with his family at his side.

Harvey was born in Scottsguard, SK to Melvin and Leitha Simmons. In 1950, he married his sweetheart Nora and together they raised four girls in Vulcan, AB. Construction was a mainstay for him. One of his greatest accomplishments was being the owner and operator of Vulcan S&S Concrete.

Jack was born on January 3, 1924 in Winnipeg, MB and grew up in Calgary. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy in WWII, based in Esquimalt, B. C.

His company, JFWREN Sales, dealt in Oilfield Supplies, and Tracked Vehicle Supplies. He loved animals, especially dogs, golfing, travel and music.

Heather Jean (nee MacDonald) Shopka, wife, sister, aunt and friend to so many, was delivered into the Lord’s caring embrace at the gentle age of 72. Her final journey took place on October 22, 2016 at the Vulcan Community Health Centre.
