William (Bill) James Ellis
Born August 15, 1950 in Vulcan, Alberta. He grew up, lived, worked and loved the family farm all of his life. He loved order, nature, the farm and most of all his family. He worked in the communities of Champion and Vulcan until he retired to continue farming.
Bill passed away peacefully surrounded by his family January 28, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife Susan (nee: Campbell) Ellis, his children Amber Thomson, James (Jana) Ellis, Robyn (David) Tymo, Jason (Jamie) Ellis, Bonnie (Adam) Woodruff, Renee (Richard) McDaniel, Amanda (Blaine) Francis, 10 grandchildren, his parents Jim and

Branden, Leroy Leonard, of Vulcan, passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on January 17, 2018 at the age of 88 years.
Leroy is survived by his children – Richard (Deborah) Branden of Lethbridge, Dan Branden of Calmar and Lori Branden of Vulcan; 4 precious grandchildren – Lukis, Jazmin, Cody and Cheyenne, and 1 great granddaughter Izabel. Leroy was predeceased by his beloved wife Ann on November 20, 2017, and his parents.
Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 at 1:30 pm at the Vulcan Legion Hall (240 Sinclair Road), Sue MacDonald, D.M. officiating. Inurnment Vulcan Cemetery.

Williams, Darlene, a shining light, of Vulcan, passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on January 6, 2018 at the age of 92 years.
Darlene is survived by her children – Darrell (Barbara) Williams, Marjorie (Paul) Leis, Bobbie Williams, Ricky (Karen) Williams, Cindy (Roy) Hilman and extended family Larry (Doreen) Butler and Brian Butler. 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, a sister Nellie Hutton and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Ralph and Dora Salter, an infant daughter Linda, son Melvin, brothers Earl and Charles Salter and a sister Gladys Arnold.

Brown, Arthur “Pete” of Arrowwood, beloved husband of 71 years of Betsy, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on January 7, 2018 at the age of 95 years.
Funeral Service Monday, January 15, 2018 at 1:30 pm at the Arrowwood Community Hall, with Pastor Dennis Burriss officiating. Cremation followed the service with inurnment at Mountian View Memorial Gardens, at a later date.

Graham, Donna Leigh, of Vulcan, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on January 7, 2018 at the age of 71 years. .
Donna was raised at Arrowwood, Alberta by her parents Leigh and Myrtle Williams along with her siblings – Jack and Cheryl. She graduated high school in Vulcan. She ventured to Calgary for a job at the Calgary Herald. She soon moved back to Vulcan to be closer to the love of her life, John. Caldwell, Allan Keith of Champion, passed away suddenly at his home December 28, 2017 at the age of 67 years.
Keith is survived by his mother, Eileen Caldwell of Champion, sister, Marie Greaves of Airdrie, son Allan Caldwell of Red Dear, daughters Christina (Brian) Guidolin of Red Deer, Karen Gammel, Leeann (James) Sparkes of Champion, 6 grandchildren, Christian, Destiny, Julianna, Jacob, Dominic and Billy, as well as cousins, nieces and friends.
