Beck, Valeen “Val” Alberta, of Vulcan, passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on April 28, 2018 at the age of 79 years.
Val was born December 6, 1938 in Coe Hill, ON to Earl and Leatha (nee: Andrus) Warner. She was raised in the Oshawa area and in 1965 came west to Carievale, SK where she resided with her young family for about 5 years. After her divorce, Val came to Calgary in 1972 with her Uncle Glen Andrus.
Val then married her second husband Gordon Beck and they moved to Vulcan in 1975 where they opened a NAPA store

William (Bill) Alexander Taylor

With a sadness we announce the passing of our father, William “Bill” Taylor, who died peacefully at his assisted living home on April 23, 2018 in Calgary AB at the age of 87 Years, concluding the sedentary quarter of an otherwise wild ride.

It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Raymond Delbert Warren, beloved husband of 45 years to Jeanette.  He was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday April 19, 2018 at the age of 72 years.
Raymond was born in Vulcan on November 24, 1945, second son of Wilford and Edna Warren.  Raymond grew up on the family farm west of Champion.  He took his schooling in Champion and Vulcan and after graduation, he attended Olds College and SAIT.

Mitchell Dimitri Malmberg was born November 30th, 2008 to Steven and Jessica Malmberg. Mitch always has a presence about him. His personality could fill a room, his giggle and smile could brighten even the darkest days. He was the king of bad ideas but always managed to come out of any situation smelling like roses. Nancy Muriel Bertschy (Robinson) of Milo, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Strathmore Hospital on February 19, 2018 at the age of 83 years.
She was the loving mother of: Fred C. Bertschy, Louis Bertschy (Donna), Steve Bertschy (Leanne) of Milo, AB and Tamara Van Tassell of Grande Prairie, AB. She will also be dearly missed by her 10 grandchildren: Nadine, John, Kayla, Quinn, Caeden, Atom, Grayson, Dallin, Ty, and Camryn. She will also be lovingly remembered by: sister Elizabeth (Betty) Forsberg, sister-in-law Irene Oberholtzer, numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. In addition to her husband Fred L.

Houlton, Anna Laura, passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Center on April 9, 2018, two weeks prior to her 97th birthday.
Laura was born in Vulcan in 1921 to Mary and Labon Eamor, being the youngest of four brothers and six sisters. She attended school in Vulcan and in 1943, she married Tom Houlton and lived in the Reid Hill district until moving into town in 1958.
Tom passed away in 1976. Laura later married Walter Dann in 1996, who passed away in 2006.
Laura was a Past President of the Women’s Institute, Lionettes, Vulcan Ladies Curling Club and Golf Club, UCW

Buller, Willie Bernard “Bill”, passed away peacefully at home on March 27, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Jessie of 47 years, his daughter Danielle (Doug), granddaughters Arosha, Mya, Alaysha, Faith and great granddaughter Jaylene, son Wesley (Regina) and grandchildren, Kent (Cora), Trevor (Gerry), Samantha (Jarrett), and Danielle (Deege), special grandchildren Jocelyn (Lars), and Stewart, special nephew, Bob (Ruth) Larson of Beaverdale, BC, adopted grandson, Travis and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by brother-in- law, Duncan and Ruth Winnipeg and sister-in-law Elsie Winnipeg and sister, Delcie Anderson of Nanaimo, BC.

Campbell, Sherry Ann, of Vulcan, beloved wife of Joel, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at the Tom Baker Cancer Center in Calgary, AB on March 31, 2018 at the age of 63 years.
Besides her loving husband Joel, Sherry is survived by her mother Donna Lyons, her children – Richard Wild, Wayne Campbell, Colin Campbell and Ronald Campbell, and brothers Ron and Randy Sayers.
She was predeceased by her daughter Jeannine Unser, father Darrell Sayers and her sister Katherine.
