Mary ‘Eleanor’ Bucholtz, of Vulcan, passed away peacefully in Calgary, AB on February 13, 2020 at the age of 91 years.

Mary Eleanor Bucholtz (nee Johnson) was born to Jim and Georgie Johnson on January 31, 1929 in the Red Cross Outpost Hospital in Bracken, Saskatchewan. Growing up as a child of the Depression, Eleanor lived in small towns across Southern Saskatchewan and Southern Alberta. Climax, Val Marie, Skiff, Wilson Siding, Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, Stirling and several boxcars were called home. Mary Helen Chambers of Vulcan, beloved wife and best friend of Ross, passed away surrounded by her family, at 3:45 on February 3, 2020 at the age of 84.

Besides her loving husband Ross, Mary is survived by her children Helen Ann (Stan) Liebreich, Vicky (Mark) Koenig, Patti (Ted) Stokes, Debra (Ron) Magnuson, Michael (Roberta) Chambers, and daughter-in-law Sherry Chambers, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Helen Megella, and beloved sons Les and Tim Chambers.

Frances Mary Hagg of Vulcan, passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on February 1, 2020 at the age of 87 years.

Frances is survived by her niece-in-law Charlotte Wald, great niece Melissa (Darren) Williams and great nephew Preston (Kailie) Wald and families.

Frances was predeceased by her parents Alex and May Reid, husband Stanley “Jiggs” Hagg, sisters Helen and Nora (Dahl) Howerton, brothers Cyril and Ernest Reid.

A Private Family Graveside service was held at Vulcan Cemetery, Vulcan, AB.

Catherine Marie Doiron, of Vulcan, passed away suddenly at home on January 19,2020 at the age of 68 years.

Marie was retired from Alberta Health Services where she worked for 25 years and was a devoted employee and loved what she did. While raising her two sons, they moved quite a bit for the boys father’s job. Her move to Vulcan was her last and she felt this was her home to stay and finish raising her youngest son John.

Marie enjoyed watching television and her tv could be on 24/7 watching hockey, football and her all time favorite, curling.

Eunice Cockwill of Vulcan, passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre Long Term Care Unit on January 17, 2020 at the age of 97 years. Eunice has gone to join William (Bill), her loving husband of 55 years.

Eunice was born March 16, 1922 in Herronton, Alberta and she was the second youngest child of John Green and Florence Garrod Green. Her siblings were Alice, Nellie, Clarence, Cecil, Elsie, Leila, Leonard, and her surviving sister Sara.
