Simon, Istvan “Steve”, of Champion, passed away in Calgary on October 22, 2020 at the age of 63 years. He was a loving husband and father and will be forever missed by his family.
Steve is survived by his wife of 37 years, Ildi, daughter Kathy, son A.J., Godchildren Aniko and Allan, nieces Monica and Agi (Daniel), nephews Dom and Attila, and great nephew Bentley.
The family will gather together to honor Steve at a later date.

Elaine Marie Gorzitza of Bow Island, formerly of Red Deer, peacefully passed away at the Bow Island Health Centre on October 3, 2020 at the age of 72 years.
Elaine is survived by her mother Laura Gorzitza of Vulcan, sister Sharon McIntosh of Calgary, brothers Alan (Yvonne) and Kenny, sister-in-law Carol Gorzitza, all of Vulcan, 6 nieces and nephews – Jennifer McIntosh, Michael McIntosh, Steven Gorzitza, Chad Gorzitza, David Gorzitza, Caylee Gorzitza, and numerous extended family. Allan was born June 14, 1933, the 8th child of nine, to Albert and Rose Haga, in Vulcan, AB. He took his schooling in Vulcan and farmed his entire life with his brothers.  Allan was a quiet and gentle soul who enjoyed fishing, hunting and, in earlier years, snowmobiling.
