Trevor Ian Hackett of Milo, Alberta, was taken from us so tragically on December 20th, 2020 near Edmonton, at the age of 42 years.
Trevor was always ready to assist others and had a great love for the outdoors. His biggest joy was to be involved in Kenny’s hockey as well as fishing and hunting.

DOWELL, Verla June 1941 – 2020
With much love and sorrow, we announce the passing of our mom, grandmother, sister cousin and dear friend, VERLA J. DOWELL (1941). Verla passed peacefully on December 18, 2020 in Vulcan Alberta.
Verla loved traveling, living, laughing and creating memories with her daughter Ruth Goodwin of Black Diamond (Murray Fath, Champion) and spending time with her son Roby Goodwin, his wife Nicole and grandchildren Avery and Nate of Lake County BC.
She spent many years traveling with good friend Eva Friesen, husband Stan Carscallen and their daughters Maria and Natalie McHenry (the girls’ Calgary Grandmother) as they competed in horse shows in
MIDDLETON, Ruby McGregor “Mickey” 1927 – 2020
Middleton, Ruby McGregor “Mickey”, of Champion, passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on December 10, 2020 at the age of 93 years.
Mickey was born August 30, 1927 at Barons, AB to Charlie and Ina Raaschou. Along with her brother George, they were raised in the Barons/Keho Lake area and attended school at the Barons Consolidated School. After completing her education, she worked for AGT in Lethbridge for a few months before transferring to the Vulcan office. Here she met Cam Middleton and they married in June of 1949. They lived on the Middleton family farm and together
JUDD, Evelyn Victoria 1938 – 2020
Evelyn Victoria Judd of Airdrie, passed away at the Foothills Medical
Centre in Calgary on November 27, 2020 at the age of 82 years.
Evelyn is survived by daughters Shirley (John) Lewis, Barbara da Silva,
4 grandchildren – Eileen (Clarence Keating) Marage, Joshua (April)
Lewis, Charity (Jared) Reeves and Lissa (Cody) Perren, 5 great
grandchildren – Dominic Reeves, Alexa Reeves, Avery Perren, Lincoln
Perren and Tristan Keating, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by husband John Penner in 2000, husband Michael Judd
in 2018, son-in-law Manuel da Silva and son Kenneth Grekul.
A Celebration of Evelyn’s life will take place at a later date in
Vanderhoof, B.C.

Robertson-Ciminelli, Julie Ann, of Mossleigh, passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Extendicare on November 23, 2020 at the age of 65 years.
Julie is survived by her sister Irene Beddome, brother Edwin De Ruiter, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, son Shawn, his father Dave Ciminelli, and her beloved partner of 33 years John Robertson.

SCHNEIDER, Elaine Madeline 1937 – 2020
Elaine Madeline Schneider passed away peacefully on November 3, 2020 at the Extendicare Fairmont Park in Lethbridge, Alberta at 83 years of age.
As the youngest child of William and Jane Grant, she was raised on their farm located near Lomond, Alberta along with her brothers Allan and Derwyn and her sister Audrey (Middleton). All of the Grant children attended the Armada school.
When Elaine left the farm she moved to Vulcan to work at the CIBC as a teller. She met her beloved husband Claire during those years and they were wed in June of 1956. Tragically, Claire died in a
WALKER, Donald Guy “Pat” 1927 – 2020
Donald Guy (Pat) Walker, born March 17, 1927, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2020 with family by his side and a beautiful sunset in the sky outside his window. As his 7 year old great grandson Jaxon noted, “Big Grandpa was born and also died in Vulcan”.
Pat was born on St. Patrick’s Day (thus the nickname Pat) to parents, Ross and Gail (Waterstreet) Walker. He grew up on the family farm 9 miles east of Vulcan, first attending the nearby school of Sunny Glen and then later at Vulcan. After high school, he enrolled at the University of Alberta,
SMITH, Allan Peter 1926 – 2020
Smith, Allan Peter, of Vulcan (formerly of Okotoks), passed away at the Vulcan Extendicare on November 1, 2020 at the age of 94 years.
Allan was born in Calgary, AB on July 29th, 1926 and was the son of Stewart Peter Smith and Jean Kilpatrick (Greig). He will be greatly missed by his family.
Allan is survived by his son Donald (Inger) and by his daughter Carol Ray. He is also survived by five Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and three Great Great Grandchildren. Allan was predeceased by his beloved wife Barbara in July 2017, his parents, sister-in-law Patricia and son-in-law Lloyd Ray.

Mike Hofer, of Little Bow Colony and beloved husband of Annie, passed away suddenly at home on October 29, 2020 at the age of 58 years.
Besides his loving wife Annie, Mike is survived by two children – daughter Debbie (Andrew) Hofer and Gary (Marilyn) Hofer, his brothers – Jerry, John, Leonard, Dan, Darius and James Hofer and a sister Maria and all their families.
