Middleton, Mark Howard Russell, beloved husband, son, and brother passed away peacefully at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, Calgary, Alberta at the age of 55 years.
Mark was born on April 14, 1965 at Vulcan, Alberta to Blain and Lynn (Spaeth) Middleton. He received his education in Vulcan and after graduating went to Lethbridge where he attended the Community College for 2 years. While at college he was on the boys curling team that won the provincial championship in 1984.
Mark started his career in Lethbridge working for Elrich/Fountain Tire. He then moved to Pratt and Whitney in January 1996. He worked
VINOGRADOV, Roman 1942 – 2021
Roman Vinogradov of Milo, passed away peacefully at home on March 21, 2021 at the age of 78 years.
Roman was born July 17, 1942 and he arrived in Montreal, QC, Canada after leaving his homeland in conflict. While in Montreal, he started a whole new life for himself and his family. His father and uncle purchased a farm in the Laval area, outside of Montreal, to begin rebuilding. After earning degrees in Language and Education he found himself in front of a camera working as a model for the fashion industry and later operated his own high-end electronics delivery company.

GRANT, Kenneth “Ken” Arthur 1944 – 2021
Kenneth Arthur (Ken) Grant of Vulcan, AB, beloved husband of Rhonda, peacefully passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on March 18,2021 at the age of 76 years.
Ken was born September 22,1944 in Cut Knife Saskatchewan to Gordon and Mary Grant. Ken married Rhonda Lawrence on June 26,1965 in Wilkie Saskatchewan.
Ken spent 32 years with Pioneer Grain as a Grain buyer and then District Manager. Ken and Rhonda lived in various parts of Saskatchewan and Alberta as Ken progressed in his career. During those times in Kyle, Oyen and Vulcan many good friendships were developed and enjoyed.

GERHAN, Bruce Allan 1935 – 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bruce Allan Gerhan at his home, on March 18, 2021.
Bruce was born in Lomond, AB on March 7, 1935. He lived in Lomond all of his life and attended Lomond School until Grade 9, where he then quit to start farming at the Family Farm.
In 1965, Bruce started working for the Vulcan County as a Grader Operator. He retired from the Vulcan County in 1994. He had a great many years of retirement after that where he did other numerous jobs around the Lomond area for many people.

FEARON, Vincent John 1957 – 2021
Vincent John Fearon of Vulcan, passed away suddenly at home on March 10, 2021 at the age of 63 years.
Vince was born July 17, 1957 in Toronto, ON, son of Vincent and Agnes Fearon. Vince enjoyed a 40 year Mineral Exploration career of working overseas in very interesting places such as Libya, Ethiopia, Senegal, Texas, Wyoming and throughout Canada. He collected antique cars and owned and rode several motorcycles overseas and loved to collect motorcycle memorabilia.
Vince lived in Vulcan for the past 20 years and was known as a generous, honest and witty man with a great sense of humor.
SANSOME, John Eric 1946 – 2021
John Eric Sansome of Champion, beloved husband of Liz, passed away suddenly at home on March 8th, 2021, at the age of 75 years.
Born and raised on a farm on the Coalmine Road, John lived his entire life in the Vulcan / Champion area. After moving with his family from the farm into Vulcan, he married Liz in 1973 and moved into Champion. There he raised his own family, his daughter Cheryl and two sons, Richard (Lori) and Dean.
His love of hunting and fishing was well known throughout the area. His trips out to Keho and Badger lakes were among
CHAMBERS, William ‘Ross’ 1927 – 2021
William ‘Ross’ Chambers of Vulcan, beloved husband of the Late Mary Chambers, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2021 at the Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 93 years.
Ross is survived by his children Helen Ann (Stan) Liebreich, Vicky (Mark) Koenig, Patti (Ted) Stokes, Debra (Ron) Magnuson, Michael (Roberta) Chambers, and daughter-in-law Sherry Chambers, 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law Renie Chambers and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Private Family Graveside service and interment was held at the Vulcan Cemetery.

Wayne Earl Ericksen of Vulcan, beloved husband of Donna, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary on February 26, 2021 at the age of 76 years.
Wayne was born June 11, 1944 in Calgary, AB. He received his education in Vulcan then attended Red Deer College, Montana State University in Bozeman and Olds College before returning to Vulcan to operate the family farm, known as “Triple E Farms”.

Marilyn Joyce Posein, formerly of Queenstown, passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on February 23, 2021 at the age of 77 years.
Marilyn was born on May 2, 1943 in the Belleville Hospital. Marilyn and her parents, George and Frieda McLeod, moved to Leduc in 1945 after the war was over when Marilyn was 2 years old.
