LaRee (Causey) Jones took her last earthly breath and graduated to heaven on Wednesday, the 23rd of June, 2021 in Langley, BC.
She was born August 9th, 1943 in Carmangay, Alberta and was raised in the Village of Champion, Alberta by her parents, Dave and Louretta Causey. She was also very close to pioneers of the village, great grandfather Martin Clever as well as grandparents Fred and Oma Clever.
LaRee took her schooling at the University of Calgary and started teaching school in 1963. She married Skip Jones (now deceased) the same year.

Ruth Davis, of Vulcan, passed away at Vulcan Extendicare on May 30, 2021 at the age of 95 years.
Ruth lived a life of adventure and did so with enthusiasm and an unshakeable positive attitude. She was a loving, involved mother, an adoring wife and generous friend. A very humble woman who never took credit for her many accomplishments and simply dismissed compliments.

Stanley “Stan” Richard Howe of Champion, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital, Lethbridge, AB on May 29, 2021 at the age of 80 years.
Stan was born January 21, 1941 in Carmangay, AB to Dick and Linda Howe. Stan went to school in Champion and began farming at a young age and became a way of life that he loved. He met and married Bev Decker in 1963 and together they raised a family of four on the family farm.

Lawrence Clements of Vulcan (formerly of Milo), beloved husband of Doris, passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Extendicare on May 18, 2021 at the age of 96 years.
Lawrence was born January 19, 1925 to Bill and Florence Clements in Provost, AB. In 1927, the family moved to the Milo District. In 1931, Lawrence started school at Corbie Hill until it closed and then went to Milo. In January of 1944, he enlisted in the Army and in April of 1946 he came back home to Canada from Germany. Phyllis Huff was welcomed into the arms of her loving Savior on April 9, 2021 at the age of 96. She passed very peacefully at the Vulcan Health Centre Long Term Care Unit, where she had resided for the last 4 years. It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of our wonderful Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma and Great Great Grandma. Yet, we rejoice that she left this world content and at peace.

With sadness, the family of Lawrence Johnson announces his passing on April 4, 2021 in Calgary, AB at the age of 75 years.
Lawrence and Lynn moved to Alberta in 1969 and resided in Vulcan, AB. Lawrence will be remembered for his wit, humor and storytelling. Both Lawrence and Lynn enthusiastically participated in the numerous Star Trek activities in Vulcan. Lawrence developed a love of woodworking and making toys, selling them at the local markets. Lawrence, with his white beard, loved to play Santa at all times of the year. His wings were ready but our hearts were not.
