Robert “Bob” Agnew of Vulcan, passed away peacefully on his own terms, at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on August 31, 2021 at the age of 90 years.
Bob was born in North Battleford, SK, and grew up in Neepawa, MB. He settled in Calgary, AB before retiring to Milo, AB.
Bob will be deeply missed by his four daughters: Vickie (Doug) Copplestone, Cindy (Brian) Junnila, Susan (Dennis) Dahl and Debbie (Mario) Soroka, along with 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.He was the last surviving sibling of 12 children born to George and Angelina
ROUT, Earnest “Ernie” 1940 – 2021
Earnest ‘Ernie’ Rout of Vulcan, passed away at Vulcan Extendicare on August 25, 2021 at the age of 81 years.
Ernie is survived by his children – Jeremy, Christopher, Benjamin and Maria. There will not be a formal service at this time.

Donna Will of Milo, beloved wife of Thomas, passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on August 25, 2021 at the age of 84 years.
Donna Louise Will (Hagerty) was born May 2, 1937, the only child of Stan and Hazel (Foote) Hagerty of Stony Beach. She grew up on the farm Northwest of Stony Beach and attended Stony Beach School and graduated from the Convent of Zion in Moose Jaw. From 1956 to 1959 she taught school at Findlater, Star City and Avonhurst, Sk. She attended the University of Regina in 1960 and then taught at Eastview School
CHESWICK, David John 1948 – 2021
David John Cheswick (Dave) of Carmangay, Alberta, beloved husband of Carole, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge on August 24, 2021 at the age of 73 years.
Dave was born on January 12, 1948 at Portage La Prairie, Manitoba to John and Joan Cheswick. Dave moved to Oliver, BC with his family where he got his schooling and worked at his Father’s garage alongside his brother Robert. Dave joined the Canadian Armed Forces when he was 16 years old and soon after he married his highschool sweetheart Carole. Dave served in many locations, including a Peace Keeping Tour

RADAKOVITCH, Terry John 1958 – 2021
Terry John Radakovitch of Vulcan, passed away peacefully at the Foothills Medical Centre on August 23, 2021 at the age of 63 years, after a long battle with an aggressive cancer.
Terry was a great man with an infectious smile that would light up the room. He was an amazing husband, awesome dad, a wonderful grandfather and the best friend anyone could ask for. Although he will be missed by many, he wouldn’t want us to mourn his death but celebrate his life.

HOWARD, Richard ‘Rick’ 1950 – 2021
Richard ‘Rick’ Howard, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, succumbed to ALS after a long illness, on July 10, 2021 at the Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 70 yrs.
Originally from Edmonton, Rick with his wife moved to Vulcan in about 2005 with a tow truck and a dream of starting his own business. Towing did not work out when he injured himself, so he turned his attention to making the Sears, Purolator, Video Store into a successful enterprise until he retired. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rangvald Aanestad of Carmangay on June 25 at the age of 88. He was born and raised in Enchant, Alberta and in 2000 moved to Carmangay. Rangvald started building his insulation Plant in 1999 which he operated until 2019.
He leaves behind his partner of nine years – Dorothy Grenier, his son Randy (Dianna), his daughters – Karen and Wendy (Stan) and granddaughter Lindsey, his siblings Ruby, Esther, Mina, Clarence and Edwin. He was predeceased by his parents Elias and Ragna Aanestad
FODOR, Michael Balasz 1960 – 2021
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Michael Fodor in his home in Vulcan, Alberta on June 21, 2021 at the age of 61.
Michael Fodor, fourth child of the late William and Madeline Fodor, was born and raised in Vulcan, where he also received his early education.
Mike worked as an Advanced Care Paramedic for the City of Edmonton for over 21 years, including working as a Flight Paramedic for STARS Air Ambulance from 1985-1996. He moved back home to Vulcan in 2009, where he continued as a paramedic for Alberta Health Services until he retired
