Joyce Jones (Christie), beloved wife of Ray Jones, passed away peacefully with family at her side, at her home in Vulcan on April 15, 2022, at the age of 81 years.
Joyce is survived by her husband Ray and their 3 children, Ronald, Marilyn (Gordon), Robert (Arlene) and their families, including 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Joyce is also survived by 3 brothers (Clark, Wayne & Max) and 1 sister (Sandy), as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

Nellie Mae Hutton of Vulcan, passed away April 3, 2022 at the High River General Hospital at the age of 90, after a five year battle with cancer.
Nellie was born September 5, 1931, the youngest daughter of Ralph and Dora Salter, at Arrowwood, AB. She lived and worked throughout the County of Vulcan until she married Bob Hutton on March 1, 1952. They resided southwest of Vulcan for the remainder of their lives.
She is survived by her daughters – Donna (Allan) Hornberger and Deanna (Brian) Walker, granddaughters Crystal (Keith) Franklin and Robyn (Lloyd) Schlosser, great grandchildren Mackenzie Nellie Franklin, Liam

James was born November 26, 1935, to Wilson Andrew Will (Pete) and Alice (Battersby) Will in Vulcan, Alberta. He passed peacefully in High River on March 7, 2022.
James completed school at Milo and began working for Alberta Government Telephones (AGT) as an installer. In 1976 James left his position with AGT to farm with his brother Thomas. He moved into the original farmhouse with our mother and kept her entertained and cared for until she moved to Vulcan during her last years.
James was an active member of the community and volunteered his time to the church and numerous local projects.

Harvey Wenzel, beloved husband of Rose, passed away peacefully on Feb. 12, 2022 at the Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 93 years.
Raised in Sibbald, AB, Harvey was the fourth born of thirteen children. Harvey met the love of his life Rose Morgan in Little Gem, AB and they married in 1949 in Sylvan Lake, Alta.
Harvey worked for CP Rail for numerous years . Harvey’s stories of being roadmaster on the Calgary to Field track kept many people entertained, including chasing bears out of the famous spiral tunnels. His career on the CPR led him to many different

Agnes passed away peacefully February 3, 2022 at Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of 55+ years, to Nick and loving mother of two daughters Lisa Zubach and Tracy MacDonald, a son Jeff (Robin) Zubach, loving grandmother of Quinn, Ally, Brock, Olivia and Devon.
Agnes was predeceased by her parents, Anton and Rose Dierker, her brothers Richard and Edwin, and her sister Margaret.
Agnes was born in Cudworth, Saskatchewan on October 9, 1941 to Rose and Anton Dierker. Mom spent her childhood on the family farm, near Cudworth. When she was 19 years old,

Darlene Joyce Sturgeon, of Champion, beloved wife of Bob, passed away peacefully at Vulcan Extendicare on February 5, 2022 at the age of 80 years.
Darlene was born September 2, 1941 in Medicine Hat, AB to Walter and Ora Carlson. She was raised with her brothers and educated in Medicine Hat. She worked as a bookkeeper for B & D Hotshot, a company she co-owned with husband Bob.
Darlene loved fishing, hunting, painting, crocheting and arts and crafts of all kinds. She especially loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by her family but fondly remembered.

Curt Androsoff, originally of Vulcan, AB, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 at his home in Kamloops, BC, at the age of 63 years.
A proud trucker by nature, patient teacher, and much loved son, brother, father and uncle, Curt is survived by his sons Jeremy, Daniel and Steven Androsoff; his mother Sharole Felker; sister Carollyne Harper; step brother Mike Hudyma (Nancy) and niece Marlana Harper. Douglas Bruce Graham of Vulcan, beloved husband of Leanne, passed away suddenly at home on December 31, 2021 at the age of 76 years.
Doug had a lifelong love of animals and farming. He started his career as a veterinarian, earning his degree at the University of Saskatoon, and practiced for a short time in Pincher Creek before returning to Vulcan and switching to farming.
In addition to operating Graham Farms with his brother John, he raised pigs, then later transitioned to sheep. He would keep a careful eye on all his animals, spending lots of time after doing chores just watching

Betty Jean (Kunkel) Domolewski Wiebe of Vulcan, passed away at Vulcan Community Health Centre on December 8, 2021 at the age of 85.
Betty was born on September 2,1936 at Vulcan, eldest daughter of Norman and Leona Kunkel. Betty attended the University of Lethbridge to receive her Bachelor of Education with Distinction. Betty taught school in both Lomond and in Milo.
