It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Marvel Christine (Myre) Ziebert on January 30, 2022, at the age of 90 years in Vulcan, Alberta.
Marvel leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving partner Graham Millington of Vulcan; her eldest son Guyland (Maria) Ziebert of Toronto; her youngest son Darcy Ziebert of Calgary; her four grandchildren; Christina (Trevor); Christopher (Jiyeon); Leonard (Sziliva); Kimberly (Bob); her seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Curt Androsoff, originally of Vulcan, AB, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 at his home in Kamloops, BC, at the age of 63 years.

Douglas Bruce Graham of Vulcan, beloved husband of Leanne, passed away suddenly at home on December 31, 2021 at the age of 76 years.
Doug had a lifelong love of animals and farming. He started his career as a veterinarian, earning his degree at the University of Saskatoon, and practiced for a short time in Pincher Creek before returning to Vulcan and switching to farming.
In addition to operating Graham Farms with his brother John, he raised pigs, then later transitioned to sheep. He would keep a careful eye on all his animals, spending lots of time after doing chores just watching

Betty was born on September 2,1936 at Vulcan, eldest daughter of Norman and Leona Kunkel. Betty attended the University of Lethbridge to receive her Bachelor of Education with Distinction. Betty taught school in both Lomond and in Milo.

Born and raised on the Bateman farm NE of Vulcan, then living in town, Lola was truly a lifelong Vulcan resident. For grades 1-9, Lola attended the 2-room Snake Creek School (the building had been her parents’ original homestead), followed by high school education in Vulcan and by correspondence.
