Jerry David Wylie of Vulcan, passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on May 28, 2022 at the age of 84 years.
Jerry was the second child born to William and Mary Wylie. Jerry started school at Alston and attended the remaining school years in Vulcan. Through his working career, he was a parts-man for R & G, in the Royal Canadian Air Force stationed at St. John’s, Quebec and Clinton, ON. David Lawrence Lanktree of Vulcan, beloved husband of Terry, passed away unexpectedly at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on May 27, 2022 at the age of 60 years.
Besides his loving wife Terry, David is survived by his daughter Kellie (Michael), sons Owen (Kayley) and Clarke (Katie), granddaughters Ruby and Lily, mother Margaret, brother Brian (Carrie) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Percy, parents-in-law Ruby and Otto, nephews Eric and Kent, sister-in-law Marion, and brother-in-law Ron.

Eva was born on July 9, 1943 in Bassano, AB to John and Frances Irwin of Arrowwood. Eva had a leather and craft business in Drayton Valley for a few years before moving to Calgary to open a new business in Exclusive Silk Ltd. This furthered her interest in art and flower sales. She met Rene McNicoll and they married in 1987.

Marjorie was born November 23, 1932 on the family homestead of Casswallen and Ethel Evans near Strachan, AB. She was one of ten children.
After moving to the Berrywater area for work, Marjorie met, fell in love with and married Frank Love in 1951. They moved to the Love family farm where they farmed together for 67 years before poor health forced them to move into Vulcan.

Nellie Mae Hutton of Vulcan, passed away April 3, 2022 at the High River General Hospital at the age of 90, after a five year battle with cancer.
Nellie was born September 5, 1931, the youngest daughter of Ralph and Dora Salter, at Arrowwood, AB. She lived and worked throughout the County of Vulcan until she married Bob Hutton on March 1, 1952. They resided southwest of Vulcan for the remainder of their lives.

James was born November 26, 1935, to Wilson Andrew Will (Pete) and Alice (Battersby) Will in Vulcan, Alberta. He passed peacefully in High River on March 7, 2022.
James completed school at Milo and began working for Alberta Government Telephones (AGT) as an installer. In 1976 James left his position with AGT to farm with his brother Thomas. He moved into the original farmhouse with our mother and kept her entertained and cared for until she moved to Vulcan during her last years.
James was an active member of the community and volunteered his time to the church and numerous local projects.
