Mabel Mann Salvage of Vulcan, passed away at Vulcan Community Health Centre December 7, 2003 at the age of 90 years.
Mabel was born July 10, 1913 on the family homestead at Thigh Hill, Alberta to Zebbie and Mary Deal. She attended Thigh Hill, Vulcan and finished high school in Calgary. Mabel returned to Vulcan and worked briefly in the bakery for Bob Martin and five years with A.G.T. as a switchboard operator.

Marwood Earl “Smokey” Jones of Lomond, Alberta  passed away Sunday November 30, 2003 at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital at the age of 77 years.
Smokey was born October 7, 1926 in Bassano to Earl and Silva Jones.
