Mel Jordan passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 7th, 2025, at the age of 89.
He is now playing hockey on his perfect pond, throwing rocks to that inner circle and on a beautiful back nine – lining up for another hole-in-one; with no worries and a few coins from winning his latest pool game.
Mel was born July 10th, 1935, in Vulcan Alberta to Alice and James Jordan. He was raised on the family farmstead east of Champion with his brothers, Ken, Vernon, Keith, Ron and his sister, Charlotte.

Robert William Barry Campbell was born June 17, 1941 in Vulcan, Alberta.  Barry was the eldest son of Bill and Carolyn Campbell.  He grew up on the Campbell homestead 6 miles southeast of Mossleigh.  He went to school in Mossleigh until grade 11 and completed grade 12 in Vulcan.  Following High School, he attended Olds College.

Doris Clements passed away peacefully at South Health Campus on February 26, 2025 at the age of 99 years.
Doris was born on April 9, 1925 to Joe and Sarah Davenport in Cluny AB.  She lived on the family farm NE of Cluny along with her three brothers and two sisters. Doris attended school in Cluny, she travelled to school by horse, wagon or sleigh.

Mary was born in Toronto on St. Patrick’s Day. She would excel at school and go on to earn a BA and BSW from U of T and a Master ‘s in Social Work from McGill. She worked for Children’s Aid Society in York County prior to moving West where she continued her social work with the Government of Alberta. Mary would later sit on the University of Calgary Senate.
