Mel Jordan passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 7th, 2025, at the age of 89.
He is now playing hockey on his perfect pond, throwing rocks to that inner circle and on a beautiful back nine – lining up for another hole-in-one; with no worries and a few coins from winning his latest pool game.
Mel was born July 10th, 1935, in Vulcan Alberta to Alice and James Jordan. He was raised on the family farmstead east of Champion with his brothers, Ken, Vernon, Keith, Ron and his sister, Charlotte.

The Family of Robert William Barry Campbell wish to announce the peaceful passing of Barry at the Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 83.
Robert William Barry Campbell was born June 17, 1941 in Vulcan, Alberta.  Barry was the eldest son of Bill and Carolyn Campbell.  He grew up on the Campbell homestead 6 miles southeast of Mossleigh.  He went to school in Mossleigh until grade 11 and completed grade 12 in Vulcan.  Following High School, he attended Olds College.

CLARK, DAVID JAMES (1945 – 2025)
Dave passed away peacefully at age 79 on March 27, 2025 in Vulcan, Alberta. He is survived and missed by his loving wife Edna, daughter Christine (Dave), granddaughters Emma and Sadie, and son Mike (Kelli). He is also survived by sisters-in-laws Judy Sanderson and Janet Clark, and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his parents Leslie (Jim) and Helen Clark, his brother Dale Clark, in-laws Jack and Helen Sanderson, and brother-in-law Pete Sanderson.

ERNEST STRUCK
October 19, 1961 – March 9, 2025
It is with great sadness that the family of Ernest (Ernie) Struck shares the news of his sudden passing at the age of 63 on Sunday March 9, 2025 at his home in Carmangay, Alberta.

Ian was born June 29, 1951, at Calgary, Alberta. He was raised in Calgary and educated at Crescent Heights High School.
Ian’s early years were spent exploring the undeveloped fields of northeast Calgary with friends.  He particularly enjoyed spending time camping throughout western Canada with his family.  Much of his leisure time was spent playing baseball and hockey where he played on several city and provincial championship teams.  He developed an

Ervin Nelson (1947-2025)

He was the second child to David and Ethel Nelson of Wishart SK and is survived by his loving wife, Colleen, of 56 years and 2 children Ryan(Joy) Nelson of Killarney, MB, Amy(Noel) Flitton of Champion, AB and his grandchildren Dylan, Lexie, Annabelle and Aubrey. JORDAN, (CONSTANCE) JEAN
Mom passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 4, 2025 at the age of 92. She is now resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior with no more worries.
Mom was born June 7, 1932 in Champion Alberta to Norman and Myrtle Patterson.  She was raised in Champion with her sister Donna and brother Doug.  She took her teacher training in Calgary in 1951 and taught in Carmangay, Vulcan and Champion through the years. When she retired from teaching she worked with Dad on their farm west of Champion.

Doris Clements passed away peacefully at South Health Campus on February 26, 2025 at the age of 99 years.
Doris was born on April 9, 1925 to Joe and Sarah Davenport in Cluny AB.  She lived on the family farm NE of Cluny along with her three brothers and two sisters. Doris attended school in Cluny, she travelled to school by horse, wagon or sleigh.
Doris married Lawrence Clements in 1950 after dating for a few years prior.  They first lived in High River and then in 1951 moved to Milo AB.  They had two children – Darlene and Larry.

Danny Guenther
Sept. 10, 1968 – Mar. 1, 2025
It is with heavy hearts, with so much love, we announce the passing of our beloved brother and uncle, Danny Guenther.
He is survived by his brother Barry (Aggie), his beloved nephew Cody (Christy & Sox), brother Brian and sister Tami (Dan).
Danny was the Sunshine in our family. He will be remembered as a fun-loving and gentle soul with a big smile, his compassion for others and his love for his family.
Danny was predeceased by his parents Ben and Annette Guenther and his beloved nephew Cory Guenther.

Mallory, Mary Patricia (1931-2025)
Mary was born in Toronto on St. Patrick’s Day. She would excel at school and go on to earn a BA and BSW from U of T and a Master ‘s in Social Work from McGill. She worked for Children’s Aid Society in York County prior to moving West where she continued her social work with the Government of Alberta. Mary would later sit on the University of Calgary Senate.
In 1966, she would marry Don and move to Kirkcaldy. It was a bit of a culture shock at first, but she soon found herself participating in Kirkcaldy
