Campbell, Norien Grace passed away June 25, 2009 at Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 70 years.
Norien was born on September 6, 1938 at Queenstown to Nels and Clara Nelson. She attended Queenstown and Milo schools. Norien went onto Henderson’s College of Business and worked in Calgary for a while. She married John Campbell on June 3, 1966 and had a son Jeff on July 12, 1967. Norien enjoyed children, gardening, baking and spending time with family
Norien is survived by her husband John, son Jeff, two sisters Lorna Francis and Carol (Bill) Steiner, mother Clara Nelson, Lawrence (Jean) Umscheid, mother-in-law Carolyn Campbell, sister-in-law Marilyn Nelson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Norien is predeceased by her father Nels, sister Margaret and brother Art.
Memorial service Monday, June 29, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Vulcan United Church with Sue MacDonald D.M. officiating.
Honorary bearers Glen Gateman, Colin Gateman, Blair Nelson, Wade Nelson, Kevin Umscheid, Lane Steiner and all friends and family in attendance.
