BROTHERTON, Joseph LEON 1940 – 2013
Leon Brotherton passed away peacefully at Vulcan Community Health Centre on December 1, 2013, at the age of 73 years.
Leon had a full life of family, friends, racing, fishing, hunting and enjoying what fancied him.
Leon is survived by his children Arlene (Don) Round and Russell (Nora) Brotherton, grandchildren Starr, Candace and Kali, great-grandchildren Sara, Shaye and Mackenzee, two brothers Lawrence (Sheila) and Gordon Brotherton, and numerous nieces and nephews. Leon was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Alvine Brotherton.
Viewing/Gathering at Sunshine Drop-In Centre (115 – 1 St. South, Lomond) will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 2 pm to 2:45 pm. Graveside Service at 3 pm at Lomond Cemetery with Pastor Larry Brotherton officiating. Further information can be requested by contacting Arlene Round at 403-829-4143.
