Mildred Brook of Vulcan, passed away at Vulcan Extendicare on May 27, 2024 at the age of 91 years.
Mildred is survived by her two children – Vicki (Roman) Eliuk of Vulcan and Alec (Karin Jensen) Brook of Calgary, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents George and Alice Rayner, her husband Alfred Brook, and eight siblings.
A Family memorial will take place at a later date, with inurnment at Torrington East Lutheran Cemetery.

Vicki and Roman, Alec and Karin, and families. We were so sorry to hear of Mildred’s passing but, after her health struggles in recent years, we know she is now at peace.
“Perhaps they are not stars, but rather, openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.”
Although not a blood relative, Mildred became a treasured member of our family when she and Alfie moved to Canada and she remained so for the rest of her life. We take comfort in our precious memories and the knowledge that Mildred and Alfie are together again and they are happy. They will both always be loved, cherished, and remembered. Forever in our hearts.
