Vivian Ada Booth, longtime resident of the Vulcan area passed away April 2, 2002 at Vulcan Extendicare at the age of 86 Years.
Vivian was born December 4,1915 at Reid Hill, Alberta east of Vulcan the second daughter of John Edward “Ted” and Selma Campbell nee: Balstad. She attended Sunny Glen School. On October 20, 1932 Vivian married Forrest Leonard “Bud” Booth and they started their life together on the farm on Snake Creek. They lived on the farm until the mid 1970’s when they moved to Vulcan.
Vivian lived her whole life in the Reid Hill/Vulcan area. She enjoyed farm life, her garden, horses and taking part in the events in her community. She was blessed with wonderful neighbours and friends.
She is survived by three daughters Marion of High River, Grace (Ken) Jesse of Calgary and Leona (Dick) Peter of Edmonton, a son Ken (Eva) Booth of Mankota, Sask., nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great Grandchild, daughter-in-law Linda Booth of Milo, six sisters Viola Campbell, Virginia Jacobson of High River, Jean Bittorf of Calgary, Louise (Bob) Sheldrake of Lethbridge, Edna (Johnny) Palmer of Claresholm and Lorraine Beard, a sister-in-law Alberta Booth of Lomond. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families.
She was predeceased by husband Bud in 1981, three brothers-in-law Olaf Jacobson, Bill Bittorf, Raymond Beard, her parents and her pet cat Pip Squeak.
