Alice Dorothy Bartsch passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Sunrise Gardens in Brooks, Alberta at the age of 91 years.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 1:30 pm at the Milo Community Hall, Milo, Alberta. Officiated by Reverend Gordon Cranch. Interment followed in the O Perfect Peace Cemetery, Milo, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, tributes in Alice’s memory can be made to Hope Lutheran Church, Box 31, Milo, Alberta T0L 1L0.

I’m very sorry to heard about your family loss. I didn’t know her personally, however I do know that she was the kind of person that anyone would love to have in their lives.
May she rest in peace and her memory live on forever.
All of us at The Terry Fox Foundation are so saddened to hear of Alice’s passing. We are thankful for her dedication to Terry’s dream and mission of funding cancer research. She clearly left an enduring legacy for her five(!)generations of family and the Milo community and will be dearly missed.
I was so sorry to learn of the passing of Alice Bartsch! She was such a sweet lady – a pleasure to be around – a delight to visit with – and so very talented as an organist! I admired her for her dedication to her family, her community, and her church! Church meetings without Alice present will never be quite the same! She will be missed by many!
