Margaret (Popovitch) Black of Champion, passed away October 15, 2012 at Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary at the age of 79 years.
Margaret is survived by niece Margie (Charlie) Arnold, nephews Allan (Georgie) and David Popovitch and numerous great nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Constantine and Mary, brother John, sister-in-law Isobel Graham and a niece Diane Popovitch.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 1:30 pm at the Champion Community Hall with Sue MacDonald, D.M. officiating.

On October 10th, after a valiant battle, Sandra McKenzie passed away
peacefully surrounded by friends and family. Sandra will be remembered for
her laughter, creativity and generosity.
She leaves to mourn, a husband, Clark McKenzie and mother, Georgie
McWilliam and children Garth McKenzie (Faith), Rhonda Parrish (Jo), Jason
Cornell (Christine), Amanda Cornell and elective son Nick Scattergood
(Leanne). She is also survived by her grandchildren Shelby, Danica,
Kayley, Bryce, William, Dominick, Jayde and Sheldon, siblings Cheryl
Johnson, Gordon McWilliam, David McWilliam, Garry McWilliam, Wendy
Klingemann, Ronnie McWilliam, Kevin McWilliam and Susan McWilliam. Sandra
also leaves cousins, nieces and nephews too numerous to mention by name

Schalin, Susan Joyce (Hayes) of Arrowwood, passed away on October 4, 2012 at
the Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 64 years.
Susan was born November 7,1947 in Calgary Grace Hospital and is the youngest
of four children born to Stewart and Ella Hayes. She grew up on the family farm east
of Arrowwood. She attended Arrowwood School and then High School in Vulcan.
She continued her education at Olds College taking a secretarial course. Upon
completion she worked at the Calgary Cancer Clinic.
She met Marven Schalin while attending college in Olds and were later married in
Arrowwood on March 18,1967. Together they raised 3

Catherine McKellar McKay passed away on September 24, 2012 after excellent care at High River Hospital at the age of 90.
Kay is survived by her two daughters Marilyn Loreen Gore and Elizabeth Jean McKay, her son, Carson Grant McKay, four grandchildren, Clark McKay, Andrew McKay, Linda Xavier and Cameron Gore and three great – grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband Glen Carson McKay, her sister Elizabeth Kyle Martin, brother Alex Grant and her mother and father Elizabeth and John Grant.

It is with sadness that the family of Robert “Bob” William Marks of Milo, announce
his passing on September 22, 2012 at the age of 64 years.
Bob is survived by his spouse Doreen McMurphy, daughters Roberta (John) and
Tina (Steve), three grandsons, one granddaughter, one great-grand-son, a brother
Ron (Carol), sisters Dene Peterson, Sylvia (Jack) Laycraft, Rosemary Monner and
Wendy Marks, and many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by brother
Freddie and parents Fred and Dene Marks.
Graveside Service was held Friday, September 28, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the O’ Perfect
Peace Cemetery at Milo, Alberta with Father Ed Hospet officiating.
