Ralph Auestad of Lethbridge (formerly of Milo), passed away peacefully at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on May 14, 2024 at the age of 85 years.
Ralph was born March 4, 1939 in Bassano, AB, to Abraham and Martha Auestad. He attended school in Milo and took over the family farm at a very early age.
Ralph married Laureen Hayduk of Lac La Biche in July of 1967 and together they raised two children – Allan and Deb. Ralph and Laureen kept busy over the years with their kid’s activities and enjoyed their community. Ralph and Laureen eventually moved to High River and finally to Lethbridge where they continued to reside until Ralph’s passing.
Ralph is survived by his daughter Deb Lebsack, his pride and joy – two granddaughters Ashley and Sarah Lebsack, all of Lethbridge, sister Helen (Barry) Campbell and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, son Allan in 1994 and his wife Laureen in 2022.
A Family gathering will take place at a later date with Inurnment to take place in Hope Lutheran Cemetery, Milo, AB.
