JOHNSON, Jeffrey Allan George 1976 – 2024

It is with endless love and high emotions we announce the sudden departure of our newly found angel,Jeffrey Allan George Johnson. An amazing man and kind soul has escape us all as the former Cranbrook resident of B.C. left us suddenly on April 20, 2024. Jeffery was in Calgary A.B. at the time of his passing and was just 47 years old.

Jeff was born August 10, 1976 in Belleville, ON to loving mother, Connie (Gilfillen) Johnson. This is where he and his older sister Tammy were raised for their early years. His journey then brought him to B.C. at the age of 4. In the years to follow, the family welcomed two more daughters, Sara and Sammy-Jo. Then At the age of 11, Jeffery’s mother remarried and he soon met his biggest male influence. The man who took him under his wing as if he was one of his own, his stepfather Al Stewart. Along with his new stepfather, came a new sister, and finally, a brother! Crystal and Grant Stewart.

Many would say that Jeff’s protective, courageous and loyal nature might have evolved from being the only boy for so long. Yet many would say, so did his lifelong inner-child who had an eye for mischief. He was very fortunate to never of lost such grasp of either sides of his character. Jeff was known to do much of everything at a high pace. Giving him an unique beat to which he was sure to march to. Jeff never complained, and wouldn’t never give anything but his all to everything he did. Especially when it came to providing or helping his children. That being said, Jeff loved all his children. The one’s connected to him by blood, such as Jessica & Jeremy Johnson. As well as the ones whom he loved as if they were just that as well, Natasha & Danielle DeGagne.

Jeff had a passion for mechanics. At the age of 13, was the first time Jeffery took apart an engine, only to be told to put it back together again!! It might of took him forever, but he said it was one of the best challenges he had ever encountered. It gave him as much satisfaction as being behind the wheel. Little did Jeff or anyone know, but in the following years, it would be one of the biggest bonding influences between Jeff and his son, Jeremy. This brought a lot of joy to them both, and gave them many memories to cherish forever.

Although most of his years could be traced back to beautiful British Columbia, he did spend his last months where he always told everyone he would be happiest – wherever his beloved children were.In this case, his final transformation took place in Calgary, AB. Not only did he spend his last days with his children & grand-babies ( Beaux & Braxden ) but also with his lifetime best friend, Sabrina. Many believe, especially I, that this gave him the external and internal peace he needed to open up his new found angel wings that brought him to the heavenly gates that watch over us all.

Jeff is survived by all that loved him. He was a genuine man, and would give anybody his last to not watch them go without. He touched and impacted lives of most people whom got the joy to cross his path. May His soul live on in the eyes of all whom he loved. May we share stories, and cherish fond memories, as if he was still here to build new ones. May we feel his love and presence when we need it most. Lastly, May be rest knowing he was loved dearly and missed forever.

There will not be a formal service at this time. His family held a Celebration of Life on May19, 2024 in Calgary, AB.
