HUTTON, Nellie Mae    1931 – 2022

Nellie Mae Hutton of Vulcan, passed away April 3, 2022 at the High River General Hospital at the age of 90, after a five year battle with cancer.

Nellie was born September 5, 1931, the youngest daughter of Ralph and Dora Salter, at Arrowwood, AB. She lived and worked throughout the County of Vulcan until she married Bob Hutton on March 1, 1952. They resided southwest of Vulcan for the remainder of their lives.

She is survived by her daughters – Donna (Allan) Hornberger and Deanna (Brian) Walker, granddaughters Crystal (Keith) Franklin and Robyn (Lloyd) Schlosser, great grandchildren Mackenzie Nellie Franklin, Liam Max and Jaxson Donald Schlosser, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jim (Hilary) Hutton and Elsie Hutton and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Nellie was predeceased by her husband Bob, mother Dora Salter, mother-in-law Robina Hutton, brothers Earl (Esther) and Charles Salter, sisters Harriet Salter, Darlene (Dayton) Williams, Gladys (Ed) Arnold, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Jack Hutton, Pat (George) Dingwall and Shirley (Glen) Cahoon.

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the Vulcan Cemetery.
