On Saturday, June 20, 2020, Anna Deimert was called home to be with her Lord at the age of 91.
Anna Deimert was born on April 27, 1929 in Saskatchewan. Ann met Louie Deimert at Weyburn while she was working at the Provincial Hospital. He was the love of her life and they were soon married on July 29, 1951.
Ann and Louie decided to make a career change in 1967 when they moved to the Vulcan area to start a farming operation. They were very active in the Evangelical Church in Vulcan and Louie went on two mission trips to Haiti and Colombia.
They moved into a house in the town of Vulcan in the spring of 2007 where they resided until recently moving to the Vulcan Peter Dawson Lodge and then the Vulcan Extendicare.
Ann is survived by her beloved nieces and nephews. Ann was predeceased by her parents, her siblings and beloved husband Louie in 2018.
A Family Graveside Service and Interment will be held at the Vulcan Cemetery on Monday, June 29, 2020 at 1 pm, Pastor David Skinner presiding.
In lieu of flowers, tributes may be made in Ann’s memory to the Southern Alberta Bible Camp (SABC), Box 99, Lomond, AB, T0L 1G0.
