Ross and family. My deepest sympathy to you on the passing of Mary. She was such a happy, gracious lady and loved by all who knew her. I remember working with her in the community center in Lomond and getting to know her and appreciate her and Ross.. Because of the snow today, I am not able to attend the service, but you are in my prayers.

Sincere sympathy to the family. Having known Mary for most of my life it makes me and my family very sad to know she is gone. It makes me sad to say I will not be attending the funeral today because of the inclement weather but my heart will be with the family.

The news of Mary’s passing came as a shock to me. We attended a number of classes together in Armada School and later lost contact. I’m going to offer you a poem that I hope will bring solace called “Love Leaves a Memory”.
Those we love don’t go away, They walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near; Still loved, still missed and very dear. For death leaves a heartache no one can heal, And love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Ross, I am so sorry for your loss and hope that loving memories of your time together will bring you comfort now.

We were so saddened to hear of Mary’s passing and want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are in Palm Springs and feel bad that we won’t be able to attend her funeral and be there to support your family. What an amazing wife and mother you were blessed to have and we know how much she loved and appreciated you all. May all the wonderful memories you have of her help you through the coming days. She has left this world but will always be close by in your heart watching over you and waiting for the day when you will all be reunited again ❤️

Dear Ross and family … my sincere sympathy goes out to all of you on the passing of Mary! She was a wonderful, kind, and caring woman who left her mark on the Armada, Lomond, and Vulcan communities! I have so many fond memories of Mary and Ross, and I do indeed remember what great dancers they were … and their total dedication to family, friends, and community! It was Mary who taught me “The Old Time Waltz” when I was about 12 at a dance in Lomond! She was so pleasant and patient … and had such a wonderful sense of rhythm that she made it easy and fun to learn! Mary will be greatly missed by so many … and I will always think of her whenever I hear the strains of “The Old Time Waltz”!

Ross & family – my heart goes out to you – Mary willbe missed. She & I worked together at the Betty Anne Shoppe for many years & shared many stories about friends & family. I loved to watch you 2 dance together – totally in the moment of the music and each other. You set the bar pretty high for other couples to try to reach. The best part of Mary was that it didnt matter if she saw you a day or two ago or if it had been months. She just carried on like you had never been apart.
