Ronald Keith Fetkenher passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on December 1, 2019 at the age of 84 years in High River, AB.
Ron is survived by his wife of 62 years, Audrey, his son Ken (Monnie) Fetkenher, daughters Laurie (Lorne) Umscheid and Cindy West; grandchildren Josh (Sarah) Umscheid, Shaun (Julie) Umscheid, Michele (Monte) Schwing, Devon (Tara) Fetkenher, Cali Fetkenher, Casey (Hailey) West and Evan West. Ron is also survived by his great grandchildren Neve, Elle, Ayla, Trin, Tor, Wolfgang, Liam, Hayden, Kai and Rowan as well as his nephew Doug (Sharleen) Bushell and niece Christine (Galvin) Egeland. Ron was predeceased by his parents Frank and Susan Fetkenher, his in-laws Jack and Florence Bushell and brother and sister-in-law Eugene and June Bushell.
Ron farmed most of his life and ran Mr. R’s, a Ski-Doo dealership with his son Ken for 25 years. He was also an avid fan of curling and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Milo Community Hall, Milo, Alberta.
