Beloved husband of Helena Nixdorf of Carmangay, loving father of two daughters, Susan (Montie) Pierce of Carmangay, Darlene (Garry) Peters of Mountainview; one son Leonard Nixdorf of Lethbridge; four grandchildren Nicole (Don) Berthelette of Calgary, Dustin Peters (fiancé Cassandra Strubb) of Grande Prairie, Rustin and Amber Peters of Mountainview, four sisters Ethel Simpson of Chilliwack, B.C., Helen Nixdorf of Edmonton, Evelyn of Vancouver, B.C. and Annie of Calgary, one brother Ted (Lorna) Nixdorf of Edmonton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Walter was predeceased by four sisters Hilda, Mildred, Elsie, Linda, two brothers Albert, Rudolf and his parents.
