HONESS, Mildred Irene 1923 – 2013
Our deepest sympathy to Mildred’s family. For years we farmed near the Armstrongs, and Mildred and Muriel’s Dad, Glen would drop by to have Dad do some blacksmithing for him and often stayed for supper. One time, when we were young, most of us including Mum was sick with something (perhaps chicken pox) and Muriel came over to cook for us. I was probably about 7 years old. She brought a potato ricer with her and I was so impressed! It was the first time I had had potatoes served that way!
She will definitely be missed by many.
Family of Mildred Honess,
I’d like to express my sincere sympathy on the loss of your dear mother, grandmother, etc.
She was a very special lady.
She gave me a book that she wrote of her life which I cherish.
With sympathy,
June Fekete( McAlister)
